The first direction of ShilpSala is to undertake conservation related projects in the capacity of principal consultant or contribute our expertise to a larger project team or consortium. The primary objective remains to include traditional building knowledge systems and craft skills in the contemporary practice of architectural and urban conservation, integrated development of historic areas, research on conservation issues and new design in a historic fabric.
